Hi everybody,
Joined minti just the other day and i can tell you that i just love it.
I am a 35yr old and have been in a defacto relationship for the past 17yrs. We have 3 children aged 16 (girl), 14 (boy), and 11(girl).
We live in rural victoria australia about 1 1/2 hours from bendigo. We not long ago (3mths) moved back into town from living on a farm (rented) for 6yrs. It takes a bit to get used to. We moved because it was just getting so hard for partener to finding work cause of the drought.
Well better go, have to pack cause i am going to my dads for new year and a big family reunion. Last one i went to I was only little. So it should be interesting LOL
HOPE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY NEW YEAR |

Hi Everyone,
Hubby & I had a very quiet xmas as the kids were all in the eastern states sailing down the Murray River on a house boat paid by my son's new m-i-law. Hubby is still ill & the Drs still can't find out what's wrong with him. So it's been a very quiet & lonely xmas as hubby spends most of the day in bed. I feel quite down at the moment, I suppose because I have no contact with anyone. My Dr told me last week that the lower part of my back is knackered & my problem is too far gone for surgeons to do anything about it. So yes I am feeling a little sorry for myself.
Wishing you all a Great New Year.
Love,
Krys xxx |

I lost my husband in a work accident in Aug 06 and am still stuggling with that loss everyday. Am looking for a safe place where I can talk about the kids when they are driving me mad without feeling guilty, my kids are the most important people in my life and are the only thing that keeps me getting up everyday but sometimes I just want them to leave me alone to. Anywat thats a little bit about me I am looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of you and make some new friends. bye for now Annie |

Merry Christmas to all. My name is Kelly. I have 4 children and live in WA. My husband and I decided to move interstate from S.W Victoria in May last year and haven't looked back. The things I miss are family and the coast. But the weather is sooo much better. |

I'm a mum of 4, 3 girls from a previous marriage who are now very independant 21 and 18 yr olds (twins) with my 21 yr old having just bought her very first house. I also have an 8 yr old son who is just gorgeous! Nikita, Amy & Caitlin we don't get to see so much because they are all busy with work and school and the twins(Amy & Caitlin) are also in a band that is starting to really go places so that keeps them even busier. Matthew keeps us on our toes as he also happens to have Autism. We are extremely lucky as we've had lots of early intervention and and we've had him full time in Giant Steps for the last 2 years which has made such a difference to his behaviour. He started to talk just over 3 yrs ago now and he's more than making up for the years that he didn't!!
I'm currently doing my Certificate 3 in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and will hopefully have it all finished by the end of the summer break. I hope to start my own bookkeeping business from home in the new year, as going out to work just won't happen as Matthew will not go to any childcare places and finiding a job that will be as flexible as I need would be a miracle!
My husband was born and raised in Winnipeg Canada and our son Matthew was born there. We spent the first 3 years of our married life in Canada and then I talked hubby into bringing me home to Tasmania, and we've been back here for 6 years now. I think he's slowly getting settled here.. Tasmania is much smaller and has a totally different pace of life than hubby is used to.
Well I think that covers most of my life story, well as much as I can think of that is relevant anyhow! Have a great Christmas everyone and look forward to chatting with and making some new friends. |

Hi everyone,
My name is Kate Lawson Gould, and I am the mother of six children. My husband and I are performers/teachers/directors/writers and composers.
So as you may guess, our house is always noisy, always messy, but full of creativity!
Our younger kids are even creative in their mess making.
We also have two dogs, a cat, 4 kittens, a rabbit and a guinea pig!
We have just completed a Christmas package which includes an audio ebook: "A Snowman for Felix" and an illustrated song, "It's too hot for Christmas"...and yes, we come from Melbourne Australia!
We're very excited to share these latest offerings, and we're MORE than happy to share ideas about parenting, although I think the thing I have really learned from raising six kids is that they know best!!!
If you would like to see our Christmas package, you can at:
www.cloud9books.com.au/Snowman.php
And you can also see a utube video about it at:

Have a merry Christmas! I look forward to knowing you better!
Love
